Teaser Tuesday is a weekly bookish meme is hosted by MizB from Books and a Beat.
1. Grab your current read
2. Open to a random page
3. Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page. BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
4. Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!
This week I’m reading a play! You have probably heard of it, it’s called A Doll’s House and it was written by Henrik Ibsen.
Release date: 1879
Genre: Classic, Drama, Feminism
My quote:
“But no man would sacrifice his honor for the one he loves.”
“It is a thing hundreds of thousands of women have done.”
I love that your quoting Ibsen. I just watched an Australian film called ‘The Daughter’, based on Ibsen’s play The Wild Duck. You should check it out if you can – it’s hardhitting! http://www.imdb.com/title/tt3922816/

It’s a long, long time ago that I read A Doll’s House – I’ve also seen it performed and was unexpectedly very moved. Thank you for bring back a raft of memories… This is my TT this week –

I haven’t read any Ibsen yet. It’s been on my TBR for a long time. My Teaser is from Vinegar Girl by Anne Tyler.

Great teaser! I’ve heard of this but never read it. My teaser this week comes from a soon-to-be-released fantasy – Magic Bitter, Magic Sweet by Charlie N. Holmberg. Happy reading!
